As a lover of small and intimate boutique style hotels, I found the Chithirapuram totally to my taste. The hotel is thoughtfully decorated, the rooms are quite roomy, and it was excellent value for the price. Perhaps what made our stay so enjoyable was the charming and funny manager Manoj. What a tremendously nice man ! Nothing was too much trouble for us. During our stay I developed what could have been a serious condition and he drove me down to the hospital in Kochi. As if that was not enough, he stayed for a few hours to potentially interpret and make sure that I was getting the proper care. As another bonus, the food was also quite good.

We had a great time at the Santhi Hill View resort. The rooms are clean, the view is beautiful and we enjoyed chilling on the balcony and listening to the sounds of nature. The food there is fresh and delicious. I definitely recommend you to eat at their restaurant!

Lovely hotel located in an ambient place, not far from the center. Run by helpful & professional hosts. Rooms were beautiful, clean (it smells really good-lemongrass), and had a beautiful view to the houses & tea plantation. The location is incredible, the rooms beautiful and clean, and the roof terrace (which is also the restaurant with delicious and affordable food) offers an amazing view over the tea plantations. It's a good hotel to stay and it has an excellent view to the tea plantations. It's located in the heart of Munnar town which is really a good thing. Hot water is available 24/7 which is good. Overall a good stay which we enjoyed as a family.

The location is absolutely stunning. A little bit further from the city but that is absolutely worth it and that makes it quiet and peacefull. And the hotel even paid half of the tuktuk fare to get to the hotel! Large room and bathroom, very new and clean. Great views on the tea plantations. Nice, helpfull staff, good food, perfect!
