The room was as advertised. The staff service was great. They explained how to use the amenities in the room when we arrived and gave us sweets/tea. There was a dining table with 2 doors, 1 at the entrance way and 1 at the living room so the staff doesn't need to pass through the living room to serve you food (for privacy reasons) which I thought was very well designed. We were able to select 3 yukatas for the 3 nights we stayed here. We didn't use the public onsen because we had a private one in the room so no comments on the onsen they have. The tatami room was huge and spacious. The bed was great. Aircon was easy to use. The private open air bath was well decorated with plants.

This is an extremely comfortable hotel with excellent facilities. The room was very well laid out and a good size, it had everything we needed. The breakfast was superb and the library with tea/coffee available as required was an additional bonus. The location is central and very close to transport and the centre.

Everything was great and exceeded my expectations. The room was comfortable and large, the staff was friendly, there was a treat in the fridge, the rooftop onsen was amazing and it's located really centrally. There free ramen in the evening, but didn't try that. Also laundry possibility, vending machines etc.

The place was perfect for our group, we had a lot of space, got to borrow bikes for free, utilised the big kitchen. We loved the atmosphere of the place and all agreed that we would stay here again, it was lovely. The owners were very kind and offered us anything we needed.

I really liked the western/Japanese hybrid style room. Very comfortable and all the creature comforts of a Japanese hotel. Private cedar bath included, however the room faces the entrance/road so the ambience isn't the greatest. Overall I quite enjoyed my stay.

The room was well planned to maximize space and seemed to be quite new. Amenities like pajamas and towels were provided new every day. The laundry room was easy to use. The hotel is conveniently located near both JR Station and Otemachi. Would definitely book again!

    everything! the value for the money is really good. We felt this hotel was more than 3 stars. felt really premium. bed was super comfortable. I needed another pillow and staff showed me 3 different options. Breakfast was super good and felt like they had a lot of options and freshly made food such as homemade tofu. One of the best hotels we stayed in Japan.
