We had an amazing stay! Nishadi and her husband were really welcoming, friendly, and always helpful. The breakfast was exceptionally diverse, delicious! We were able to rent a scooter directly from them, which was super convenient. The room was spotless, modern, and equipped with air conditioning. Highly recommended!

Situated near the main beach, close to all the best restaurants, everything was very clean, spacious bathroom, friendly staff always ready to help, the mattress was the most comfortable we’ve had during our trip, really an upgrade, especially considering the prices we’ve had to pay before coming here.

A fairly new homestay that has everything you need and in a great location. It is about 20 min walk away from hirikitiya but 2 mins away from dickwella beach which is even more beautiful. The hosts are also amazing and make a great breakfast every morning. The page says there is no wifi, but this is wrong; there is great wifi!

After staying at many small Sri Lankan independent hotel / guest houses, from the very north to the south this is undoubtedly the best. One of 2 reviews from me as most other being average: This place is perfectly run, perfectly maintained, great pool and great breakfasts! The evening restaurant offers a mix of Italian and Sri Lankan dishes and after a few weeks traveling nothing beats a homemade Lasagna with a glass of Red! The Beach at 2 mins away is also nr perfect. Even with the rough seas experienced on this coast there is a northern corner that is calm enough to enjoy a good swim. Well done team and Gaby, you run a great establishment. I hope to return with many friends. T

Great place to stay in Hiriketiya. Location is good, nice walk down to the beach and close to lots of restaurants. Room was so comfortable and clean with great a/c and mosquito net. Great that they have a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities.

We’ve loved our stay here. Mani is a wonderful host and we feel very much at home, she’s been so generous with her suggestions and catering to my dietary needs (vegetarian). The food is brilliant and wholesome. We’ve been able to relax and work from the porch and the living room, and take the short walk to Talalla beach for a perfect swim. This is a heritage property and it has been in the family for a long time, you get the feeling of living among local history - which I prefer more than a newly sprung up hotel. And you can spot plenty of colourful birds in the peaceful garden. Easy access to mini marts, fruit vendors, sunset viewpoints, and a short ride to the busier beaches of Dikwella and Hiriketiya.
