The room was comfortable, clean and we had a lovely bathroom.Our room had a fabulous view of the lake. The location is beautiful and peaceful, and a great place for bird watching. The food is excellent, we ate in the restaurant, having delicious barbecued fish and chicken the first and local deviled dishes the second.They also organized the professional Yala National Park Safari Tours. You will booked the Cottage they are asked you to do the Safari Tours.So easy to booked the safari like this. If you would like to go for a safari in Sri Lanka choose these guys. Good service, good communication. They are really taking care of you on a safari. They know where to find the wished animals.Our guide was very cheerful, energetic, spoke good English, and very informative about the park and animals. He was able to spot small and big animals alike, and a good tracker...We saw 3 leopards, sloth bear elephants and many other wildlife and lot of birds.The safari is truly great and I think it is doesn't matter which part of the day are you choose. My tip is if you would like to go for other excursions ask them because they have a really good connections! They are also great if you need transfer! Highly recommended!

The place is beautiful, clean room and bathroom, big terace with an amazing view of the rice fields. The food is also very delicius. The host was very nice and super helpful, she organized the safari tour for us and even prepared breakefast to go so that was amazing. We can’t recomend this place enough. We had an amazing time staying here.

Lovely setting. Very large, spacious and comfortable room. Breakfast was plentiful and a good variety to suit tastes. Dinner was very good also. Staff were very attentive and polite. Pool and surrounding area was clean.

Wow!!! Where do I even start? Our stay at Happiness Villa was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the loveliest girls who welcomed us with a delicious drink and showed us to our room. The room itself was beautiful, spacious, spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable with a mosquito net provided. And then we met Sampath and Asanka—two of the kindest, warmest, and most genuine people we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. They truly made our stay unforgettable. They went out of their way in every possible way: taking us on a fascinating free tour of the village, sharing so much local knowledge, and cooking us the most delicious dinner and breakfast. Their hospitality was beyond anything we’ve ever experienced—they honestly could not do enough for us. We feel so lucky to have met them and cannot wait to return with our families. Mamba Yala was one of the most spectacular and unforgettable stays of my trip. The location, right in the middle of the jungle, is absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the sounds of nature and being surrounded by wildlife made the experience truly special. This place is a magical place with a calm and quiet nature. Swimming in the early morning before breakfast is the best thing to do. If you love animals, there is a lovely dog and lots of peacocks flying around. Throughout our stay, Dinesh helped us make our stay wonderful. They even made us a special Sri Lankan breakfast during our stay. I'm definitely going to visit again. I even met a lovely family from Switzerland with two kids. This is definitely a wonderful place to spend your holiday. 🌿😍

Great location right next to the lake and with a stunning view. The room was spacious and clean with A/C, there was always hot water in the shower and the room looks exactly as in pictures. The staff were nice and friendly and the food was delicious. Overall, very clean and beautiful place for a great price and on a good location for visiting Yala and Bundala national parks.
