Balcony house was a lovely home for my group during their yoga teacher training. Perfect location and a wonderful friendly team that accommodated our every need. It has different great shared spaces that you can relax in throughout the stay.

The location just a few minutes to the centre of Stone Town. An old building decorated in retro style, with a top roof place for breakfast and relax. David, the manager of the location was very helpfull with advices, arranging trips and helping with the luggage. Thank you David. Confortabile bed, the AC works very good.

The General Manager and his staff were exceptional. They allow for an early check in and a late check out to accommodate our flight schedule. They were really friendly and assisted with all questions we had. The room was comfortable, clean and everything there you might need.

Review of Al-Minar Hotel The hotel is very close to the beach and the harbor for trips to Prison Island. The room was clean and the furniture was in good condition. There was a kettle for making tea and a fridge to keep the water cool. The shower water was easy to adjust. The breakfast was excellent, with coffee, fruit, toast, eggs, sausages, pancakes, jam, Nutella, and butter. It was delicious. The staff was well trained, helpful from the booking process, responsive to online messages, and supportive with anything we needed. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you.
