Our stay at Inn San Francisco was a “we got it right” booking moment! The house is absolutely beautiful, charming and welcoming. Liza, Marty and Evelyn are each so lovely and were extremely helpful with everything we needed, and great to chat with. Our room was fabulous, all original furniture and fixtures from the time it was built, which we loved. Totally charming. The outdoor hot tub is a relaxing way to chill out after a day of wandering and sightseeing. The daily breakfast is divine, good choice of fresh food, coffee, tea, serving at a civilised time between 8-11am. There’s coffee, tea and other hot drinks available 24/7 in the main lounge. The lounge/breakfast room is welcoming and cosy, we enjoyed chatting with other guests. There’s a huge range of books and games. It feels like your own grand, charming home - if only for a few days!! Something else I need to mention is the brilliant location. Right near shops, restaurants, parks, bars - fabulous vibe. Liza, Marty and Evelyn will give you some tips I’m sure. We stayed for 2 nights. The room was big with 2 queen size beds. We had small chocolates. In the lobby you can find water fountain. For breakfast there was yoghurt, milk, cereals, oatmeal, fruits, coffee. Also they have free parking based on first come, first served. Close to the points of interest. The room had windows to an interior garden where it was very quiet.

The position of the hotel (located in Lombard Street) is not strictly central but useful and comfortable to reach any destination, if you have a car available; also the quarter is pleasant because it is full of shops and little restaurants. The room (King standard with view on Lombard Street) is large and clean; the bathroom too; the staff is kind and polite; they received us with courtesy and gentleness, in particular the young Jackeline: for example, we asked a kettle for the night and they gave it immediately. But the added value of this hotel is the large parking area, free and covered. You can park in a garage at the ground floor of the building, located in front of the desk point, under surveillance; but, even if you don’t find a space in that area, you can have access to an another underground garage, very wide, you can enter in using the same key of the room. A system safe and quickly!
