We liked that it’s easily accessible. Good parking and close to all amenities. We missed breakfast on our last day but we’re able to get a pre-packed lunch thing. Thanks for the extra effort, Garden Court.

When we got there , the hotel was not open still under construction but we were allowed in , that was so cool and pleasant.

Honeypot is in a quiet and very beautiful neighborhood,the property itself was a harmonious blend of nature and man. Beautifully laid out,lovely gardens,warm and genuinely welcoming staff and more. Bob owns and lives on the property,he was a gracious host and he didn’t hesitate to share his knowledge every time I called on him. He is a lively 80 year old man with a lovely dog that adores him, I will look forward to seeing him again the next time I am in Umhlanga. I cannot but mention the monkeys that came around just as I was checking out,they were the icing on a beautiful cake. The fact the beach is a walking distance from the property is also a big deal. In summary,HoneyPot felt like home.

The hotel was a very pleasant surprise. From the outside it doesn't have any appeal. But inside - Wow. Loved the openness of the restaurant and bar. I stayed in two different types of rooms (I had a return booking it was so good). Each room was very clean. Loved the shower. Staff were very helpful and friendly. For anyone visiting Durban on business or holiday, I highly recommend this hotel. As I said, I stayed for 3 nights and returned at the end of the week and stayed another night. Great location and great value for money.
