Situated in the heart of the Snowy Mountains, Jindy Inn is a 5-minute walk from Jindabyne's shops, cafes and restaurants. Kosciusko National Park is a 20-minute drive away. Both Perisher and Thredbo Ski Resorts are 30 minutes' drive away. Centrally located and great base for Kosciusko (note: "Koh-schoosh-koh", not Australian's "Koh-see-us-koh"). Owner Claire and all the staff I interacted with were very nice. The wombat king 5-dollar is an amusing touch. Good barista/cafe drink for morning, and the homemade soap & shampoo are fragrant.

The property features two shared lounge areas, one with a log fireplace and a selection of books, magazines and board games and the other lounge area with a chess set and TV with DVD player. Extremely friendly staff who gave us a lot of advice on things to do and made us feel very welcome. Also the entire hotel was nicely decorated and the common areas in particular are very nice. Breakfast is also good.

Breakfast is available, and includes buffet, à la carte and continental options. We loved how cosy it was, it felt like a home away from home! With the open lounge room area, the games room and the rooms upstairs we loved how clean and open the property was, allowing for conversations to be had with other guests and the staff!

They have a communal room which has a microwave, tea coffe etc. The breakfast they provide is really nice. Bacon, eggs, potato gems and bakes beans with toast.
