One thing to note: they also offer tours, which we unfortunately didn’t know about in advance as we had already booked with another company. Overall, a great stay and highly recommended!

I loved the hotel's location in a little quiet village and breathtaking views from our balcony. The staff were super helpful and fun and they spoke very good English.

Good people and the host was kind and offered helpful suggestions and arranged an airport pickup. Definitely recommend to all those visiting or looking for a place to live in Guilin.

Just 5 km from Yangshuo, The Giggling Tree is an unique guest house which is located in the tiny village of Little Mountain Gate. It features traditional farmhouses, a beautiful courtyard and an outdoor swimming pool. Free WiFi access is available. The Giggling Tree was just perfect! It is an amazing hotel - friendly and welcoming, lovely room with amazing views, wonderful staff and restaurant. Laura was simply brilliant and made some great food recommendations. Eating in the quaint courtyard restaurant area was perfect, especially the Beer fish from the Lijiang River! Great dumplings too! And the pool was a nice bonus with fantastic views. The property is set 7.8 km from Ping'an Rice Terrace, 12 km from Guzhuang Village Rice Terrace and 16 km from Longji Rice Terrace Scenic Spot. Each room comes with a balcony. The best hotel we stayed at on our trip to China! Great room, super helpful staff that spoke English. We stayed only one night but got all the help with transports, hikes, even directions during the hikes. We also ate dinner in the evening in the hotel prepared by the owner which had a tasty flavor. Village itself has a magical feeling and the views were amazing.

Nestled in a small village among the untouched and Protected Karst Hills, our unique location is well away from the bustling, noisy West Street yet close to local beauty spots. There are many local restaurants nearby. A very nice hotel. The location is great, away from chaos, very peaceful, yet with easy access to scenic spots in the meantime. People here are very friendly and helpful, sharing a lot of travel information. Their team speaks English, then everything became easier.

The staff were extremely helpful with booking our tours and making tour arrangements for us.
