The view from the balcony is awesome. Very nice owner who speaks English. He took me to the bus station with his own car. They have a cook. Very nice breakfast, coffee, dinner, beer etc available. Nice area for hikes.

The Giggling Tree was just perfect! It is an amazing hotel - friendly and welcoming, lovely room with amazing views, wonderful staff and restaurant. Laura was simply brilliant and made some great food recommendations. Eating in the quaint courtyard restaurant area was perfect, especially the Beer fish from the Lijiang River! Great dumplings too! And the pool was a nice bonus with fantastic views. Good bicycles to rent and trips/taxis can be organised. We'd love to return again one day - the scenery is simply unforgettable! Thank you Laura! Great room, super helpful staff that spoke English. We stayed only one night but got all the help with transports, hikes, even directions during the hikes. We also ate dinner in the evening in the hotel prepared by the owner which had a tasty flavor. Village itself has a magical feeling and the views were amazing.

The location is great, away from chaos, very peaceful, yet with easy access to scenic spots in the meantime. People here are very friendly and helpful, sharing a lot of travel information. Their team speaks English, then everything became easier.
