Beautifully designed, new bungalows in the middle of a tranquil oasis of a garden with delightful pool. Also with private outdoor shower! The staff was super friendly and helpful. Some other travellers mentioned it was far from the center but it wasn’t an issue for me, I walked every day and it was about 35 minutes along the beach. Would highly recommend if you want to stay in a beautiful hotel in the middle of nature and have a great night’s sleep while being close to Puerto Viejo.

The attention to details was so obvious. One of the few hotels of this type where your included breakfast was delivered to your room during your stay. The grounds of the hotel are stunning beautiful, complete with visits from local families of monkeys, sloths and toucan. The staff was really friendly and attentive to our every need. All of the above made for a wonderful stay and visit to the area.

Situated at the beachfront of Manzanillo in the Limon region, Faith Glamping Dome Costa Rica has a patio and garden views. First of all, I want to mention the owner of this place. Andrea is a wonderful host. She showed and explained everything to us, recommended many great places, cooked a delicious breakfast, and brewed a perfect cup of coffee in the morning. Faith Glamping is located in a truly magnificent place—just a few steps from the Caribbean Sea and surrounded by jungle. On the property, you can see monkeys, sloths, and many different birds. There are a few good restaurants near by. I really enjoyed spending nights in the jungle.

The most special stay on our entire Costa Rica trip. The houses are built inside the stretch of a beautiful selva, with direct access to the pristine, unspoiled beach. We were surrounded by sounds and sightings of wildlife on our walks to and from the beach, and when enjoying our time at the house. The love, attention and effort that goes into the maintenance of this amazing place is truly incredible. Everything works perfectly, from showers to kitchen utilities and all other comforts. Marisol took great care of us and helped us to spot sloths, toucans and howler monkeys. One of our closest wildlife encounters on the trip also took place at Congo Bongo. Following Marisol’s recommendation, we had two dinners at the local restaurant Mista Cook, it was delicious. Muchas gracias, we will be back!

These Puerto Viejo El Nido Jungle Lodge bungalows are 200 metres from the Playa Chiquita and include access to an outdoor pool and free WiFi. Gandoca Manzanillo National Wildlife Refuge is 5.3 km... Lovely accommodation with very comfortable bed, quiet jungle surroundings, nice kitchen, set up, and good air conditioning. It was nice having a covered outside porch. Included breakfast was great. The owners and staff were extremely nice and helpful. Are they highly recommend this place.

Hotel La Casa de las Flores is located in Cahuita, only 230 metres from the bus terminal and shopping mall. It offers its guests complimentary Continental breakfast and free Wi-Fi access. Room was large, clean with a coffee machine. Breakfast was awesome. Fresh fruits, eggs made to order and fresh pastries. Close to everything in the town. Walked most places we needed to go, in town. The owners are amazing people. They couldn't do enough for us.

A very warm welcome to a beautiful place. Perfect start for our trip. Kim is such a beautiful soul along with her Mom and the doggies. The breakfast was also lovely.

Just a 5-minute walk from the beach, Hotel Suizo Loco Lodge offers an outdoor pool, lush tropical gardens and charming accommodation with garden views. Cahuita National Park is 3 km away. Great breakfast, very nice pool, excellent service, large and comfortable room. The host is a great pal!
