Located in the historical centre of Znojmo in a reconstructed building dated back to the 15th century, Penzion Kaplanka is set 400 metres from the castle and houses a wine bar. The guest house offers views of the Dyje river. Only 7 parking spaces are available and reservations are required. We walked from the train station. The hotel is located in the historic old town in a very historic building with a great view of the countryside and the river. It is very near the pedestrian streets and the market. Close by is a fine restaurant in the local brewery. The hotel is altogether very nice.

We had the last number on top, number 17 and it was great, spectacular views from the windows. Parking right at the door.

Lenka, our hostess, was super friendly, helpful and constantly available to us. Our Beagle Elza felt welcome and even got a treat, clean bowls and a comfortable bed ready for her. It was cute. All in all, we loved our stay.
