I loved returning to the cottage in the evenings and having a nice chill time after a day of sightseeing. The kitchen had everything I could dream of, the table and the view was very pleasing. Even the curtains are selected with a very good taste. Everything in this house was perfect. When you wake up in a nice looking room on a very comfy bed and with a nice nature view from your window - your vacation is doomed to success. The bathroom is also very clean and everything was at hand. The towels are new and pleasant to use. I can't point my finger on anything what I did not like. All was perfect. I am happy to return to this place, because I had an amazing rest there. Also there is a very tasty Greek restaurant 15 minutes away from the cottage and the road goes through creek and fields, the views are very pleasing. We thought we were going to do BBQ (and the host provided us with everything needed for this!), but because the restaurant was so close and so good - we did not use BBQ.

The Hotel 4 Winden is a really lovely family hotel / guest house in the village of Windhagen. The quality of the rooms and fittings is absolutely top class. Beautifully clean and comfortable with lovely little features in the room. The bed was extremely comfortable. Frau Höfer was extremely helpful via telephone and email in giving me directions for accessing my room key, as I arrived on the May Day public holiday. I enjoyed a lovely German breakfast, of fruit, yoghurt, wonderful German bread rolls, meats and cheese, topped off with freshly cooked scrambled eggs. Extremely convenient for my business meeting at Wirtgen Group, just up the road. I highly recommend this hotel.

The area is quiet and peaceful, but nothing much to look at, except maybe TIN INN. The hotel itself was fantastic, the containers have been turned into small luxury condos with larger than average rooms and a super-sized bed, which is very comfy. You get some coffee, tea and milk pods for free, as well as 3 or 4 drinks and one or two chocolate bars. There are some vending machines downstairs, in case you need more. The containers have been sound-proofed or so it appeared to me. Shades are available, your little pod can be kept dark. Noise levels are low. Overall value for money is off the charts.

This family-run, 3-star superior hotel in the city of Daaden enjoys a scenic location in the Westerwald countryside. It offers a traditional-style restaurant. Breakfast was wonderful. Nice room and great variety. Rooms were very comfortable. Also had dinner at the restaurant at the hotel which was lovely. There is an amazing ice cream shop down the street.

Offering a relaxing ambience and excellent regional and international cuisine, this 3-star hotel is a beautiful half-timbered building in the heart of the historic town of Montabaur. Staff stayed after-hours to welcome me and provide me woith check-in!!!
