Yvonne and Santiago were very helpful and accomodating, nothing was too much trouble. We loved the Ecuadorean theme of the hotel, the room was spacious and the beds and pillows comfortable. The chefs was superb, the breakfast was delicious and varied and they put so much attention to detail in the preparation and presentation of every meal, a great way to introduce us to Ecuadorean cuisine. I enjoyed using the spa bath. They were happy to store our bags and provided us with a room safe. We enjoyed the complimentary tea, coffee and fruit. Chakana Mariscal made a great base for exploring Quito.

Hotel was perfect on all levels, from Fabrice who took such good care of us, housekeeping who made the beautiful swan towels every day and the owner who made delicious breakfasts daily and xarranged our transportation needs.The location could not be better. Lastly, the hotel is just beautiful, beds are comfortable...would stay there again for sure on a repeat visit.

The place is located near the mountains, very quiet and clean. The rooms are comfortable and the food is great. It is a perfect location to go to cotopaxi national park. The communication from booking to arriving was great on how to get to the accommodation! The staff were so friendly and helpful! When we checked in we were given a bigger room to make our stay more comfortable! The restaurant on site is great and the food was all delicious including the breakfast which had a good selection to choose from! The animals on site were a very cute touch! Lots of chickens and ducks, and 2 Llamas that were very friendly and we got to feed carrots! They also can help with tours - we did the Cotopaxi base camp walk/hike - it was just us two with the guide and great value including lunch! They also offer affordable laundry!
