Hospedería Monasterio de La Vid has a restaurant, bar, a garden and terrace in La Vid y Barrios. The hotel features family rooms. Free private parking is available onsite. We had a beautiful room, Junior Suite. The beds were comfortable, everything was tidy. The restaurant was also great and it is very welcoming that you can bring your dog!

If you’re a motor sport fan, the rooms are fun, plus there’s tons of F1 and Moto GP memorabilia throughout the hotel. Our room was in Team Repsol racing colors. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We were traveling with our two cats. We were given cat treats/toys at check in and there were water/food bowls in the room. We had an excellent continental breakfast with good coffee. The hotel is just off the A66 so very convenient as an overnight stopover. We can highly recommend it!

Location, in the old city center, is perfect and the room size and amenities are on par with more expensive properties. It has been recently renovated and this well maintained property has really nice staff.

The room was modern, exceptionally comfortable, had very high quality linens, a private enclosed terrace, and a view of the river. The staff was superb and the restaurant was absolutely exceptional. One of the best meals I’ve ever eaten anywhere. The chef is a master and his creations were divine. I would visit Cacabelos again just to stay at this amazing hotel. Do not hesitate to book!
