Hotel Gernika’s air-conditioned rooms feature a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. The location is excellent, close to everything but quiet. The ladies who who were running the front office are beyond awesome in taking care of their guests. I had to go back and retrieve my bag that got left behind in error. I returned at 10pm and they made med a sandwich and gave me fruit to take to my room. They made phone calls on my behalf an tried to help. They are so kind, I felt very cared for when I needed help.

Set in Zamudio, 6 kilometres outside Bilbao, the Aretxarte is a modern hotel with superb, convenient facilities. Luxurious nights accommodation while passing through on the Camino. Loved the bath, comfy bed, drinks and dinner at the restaurant with lovely ambience. Breakfast menu was good.

With many of the rooms boasting sea views, a cafe with a large terrace overlooking the beach. The hotel is a lovely setting for a relaxing holiday. On arrival staff at reception guided us to where to park our car, very friendly and helpful. Hotel location excellent, exceeded our expectations. Room overlooking an unobstructed sandy beach sea view and marina. Room very clean and comfy. Good breakfast. Will be back as we should have stayed for a longer period. Highly recommend it

Rooms at the Petit Palace Tamarises are designed in an avant-garde style and most of them feature fantastic sea views from their own private terraces. All rooms come equipped with free WiFi internet access. Bathrooms feature hydromassage showers. Nice hotel in Getxo. Everything was clean and comfy. Staff was helpful. If you want to visit Bilbao but you don't want to overpay for a hotel or for parking, this is your place. Plenty of free parking space (September through May, in the summer months you have to pay for street parking). Train station is a 5 minute walk and you'll be in downtown Bilbao in less than 20 min. In addition, Getxo is a lovely beach town with many restaurants and bars.
