The cottage is cosy and is bigger than it looks in the photos! Great garden for the dog to run about in and lovely walks nearby. The area is quiet and just what we needed after a busy Christmas. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. The cottage was very well-equipped and we had everything we needed and more. We all appreciated the welcome gifts, even our dog got spoiled!

Hampton by Hilton Hamilton Park is located just of Junction 5 of the M74, offering easy access to Hamilton, Motherwell and Glasgow City Centre. This hotel features a fitness centre, bar, a casual dining lounge and free WiFi throughout. Everything about the hotel is lovely. We have stayed here the same time last year, and we will again next year.

Situated 10 minutes’ drive from Glasgow city centre, Best Western Garfield House Hotel features free Wi-Fi, an on-site bar and grill restaurant and ample free parking.

The M8 motorway is just 2.5 miles away and provides easy access to Edinburgh city centre, which is only an hour’s drive. Crow Wood Golf Course is a 20-minute walk from the hotel. I can’t recommend The Garfield Hotel enough. The staff are all exceptional. The food is excellent and the room spacious, clean and quiet.

The fact I went into reception holding my daughters elves and when I asked if I could put them at the bar a staff member went above and beyond giving them and ice bath and message on the chalk board , my daughters face lit up when she saw them.. thanks so much xx
