Unusual location for a farm, being just off the motorway. Once you are used to the roads it is very easy to drive to either Edinburgh or Glasgow. Excellent room and breakfast. Good wifi and good price for Scotland. Despite the closeness, there is no problem with the traffic noise.

Very well located and appointed Exceptionally clean with some little surprises such as biscuits and sweets which we had with our coffee. Great to have our own ensuite and good sized tv. Although other guests were staying at the guest house privacy was well maintained. Cean was a fantastic hostess and made our stay an excellent one. She was very friendly and welcoming and came up with some very good suggestions such as a great restaurant for dinner and how to best utilise our time to see as much of Glasgow as we could. We were also provided with a cooked breakfast ( eggs the way we wanted ) sausage and bacon, toast, juice and coffee. An excellent way to start the day We walked to restaurant and train station and did not need our car which was safely parked at the premises and off the street. Would love to stay here again

This family-run B&B is situated in central Lanarkshire, 30 minutes’ drive from Glasgow. There is free WiFi and free parking on site, and Larkhall Train Station is 10 minutes away. Very clean and the owner was very communicative

We had a lovely stay here. The cottage is cosy and is bigger than it looks in the photos! Great garden for the dog to run about in and lovely walks nearby. The area is quiet and just what we needed after a busy Christmas. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. The cottage was very well-equipped and we had everything we needed and more. We all appreciated the welcome gifts, even our dog got spoiled!

Sitting proudly in a wonderful elevated location, the B/W Motherwell Centre Moorings Hotel is situated in an area of natural beauty, close to a picturesque country park. We were there for three nights and had numerous opportunities to see the staff provide service. They are exemplary. Very friendly and welcoming. It’s an old building with plenty of charm. It’s in a convenient location with easy parking. The meals are excellent. Great value.

In the village of Eaglesham, 6.5 km from East Kilbride and 16 km from Glasgow, this 18th-century coaching inn offers bright, airy en suite rooms. Pricing was excellent! The staff were very helpful with advice and directions. On site Resturant has a great menu with local Scottish dishes. 5-stars!!

Newly refurbished in 2019, Holiday Inn Express Strathclyde Park offers ample free parking and a continental buffet breakfast. The modern rooms feature power showers, satellite TV and work desks. The fact I went into reception holding my daughters elves and when I asked if I could put them at the bar a staff member went above and beyond giving them and ice bath and message on the chalk board , my daughters face lit up when she saw them.. thanks so much xx

Conveniently located just off Junction 6 of the M74, with easy access to Motherwell and Eurocentral, this hotel offers free Wi-Fi throughout and free parking in the adjacent car park. Smaller town away from the main city. Clean, safe, and very helpful staff booking taxis and doing their best to make us feel welcome.
