We stayed in several places during the 10 days preceding the Gateway Lodge. None of those could compare to the quality of the Lodge.

All of our en suite double bedrooms offer a king size bed with memory foam mattress, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, television, telephone and complimentary wifi. All double rooms have baths with showers. The staff in every department of housekeeping were excellent, made our stay most enjoyable.

Boasting quiet street views, Woodside Lodge features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 11 km from The Beatles Statue. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The homestay has a picnic area and a sauna. All very compact and clean and comfortable. Very helpful host - nothing is too much trouble. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone travelling alone as a safe and comfortable option. I was visiting for a family reunion and it suited perfectly. There was a TV with Sky - even better - a kettle with a fully stocked and generous tray, a small fridge. A lovely clean bathroom with an excellent shower. I often rate places I stay by their showers and the pressure obtained from them. No breakfast (as specified), but I didn't need or want it as I had my own anyway and you can have cereal if you wish or even porridge, just take your own as there is crockery, kettle and fridge. Felt very safe. Parking right outside the property in the driveway. I have tried to add a video I did of the room but it is too big to upload.

Kirkdale Railway Station is within a 10-minute walk and has regular services to Liverpool city centre. There is a bus stop within a 5-minute walk and staff can provide transport timetables and directions. Very comfortable,clean and handy for train station.Very friendly hosts.

Less than 1 km from Philharmonic Hall and a 6-minute walk from Liverpool Central Station, the property provides a restaurant and a bar. The property is non-smoking and is set less than 1 km from Albert Dock. Great location, good restaruants and activities around but also quiet - away from the bars.

Central Station Hotel offers accommodation in the heart of Liverpool. The hotel is just minutes away from the Albert Dock or the Cavern Club, well-known as the birthplace of the Beatles, Liverpool One, popular for it's shopping range and only a 10-minute drive to Anfield Football Stadium. Staff friendly and location was great. Room was spacious too.

In the city centre and within a 10-minute walk of Liverpool ONE Shopping Centre and the port, The Z Hotel Liverpool offers compact and luxury accommodation in a contemporary design. With city views, the hotel is also within 2 minutes' walk of Liverpool Central and Liverpool James Street railway stations. Clean, not noisy at all, starr were friendly and helpful

Set in Liverpool’s business district, Heeton Concept Hotel - City Centre Liverpool is a 10-minute walk from the famous Albert Dock. It features stylish rooms, free WiFi throughout and 24-hour dining with views over the River Mersey. The room was very clean and location was very close to everything. For the price we got, I would definitely recommend!
