Tucked away on a quiet cul de sac. Very clean. Host informed us of Thames Trail which we took into Oxford. ( 1 hour walk). On the way home had beers and dinner at a lovely pub on the trail.

Everything was in place and ran as expected

On the edge of the Cotswolds, only 15 minutes’ drive from Bicester Designer Shopping Village and 30 minutes’ drive from Oxford centre, The Holt Hotel offers individually styled rooms, an award-winning restaurant, a bar and free parking. A beautiful good sized room at a reasonable price. Penty of free parking. For me this is a perfect location when picking up or dropping off a rental car at Heathrow. You wouldn't get anything nearly as nice in London without paying at least 4 times as much. It is a stone's throw from Blenheim Palace which I visited next morning.

The en-suite rooms and the four-poster room are all different, and have pleasant views. I had an excellent experience during my stay. Good breakfast was served. The service was outstanding, and every staff member I encountered was not only professional but genuinely helpful. It really made my trip special.

Room was spacious, clean and well supplied with accessories. Cafe accessible from hotel. Bed was the most comfortable we have had in last 4 weeks of travel.
