A golf club can also be found within a 15-minute walk of the hotel, and Edinburgh city centre can be reached in less than an hour by car. David was incredible friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The Loch Ness Inn is located in the village of Lewiston, near the Great Glen Way. It offers rooms with free WiFi and free parking. The property is 0.7 miles from Drumnadrochit and 1.5 miles from Urquhart Castle. Everything. This is our escape, having been several times before. We can't fault the service. The staff are excellent and attentive. The food is outstanding, and the rooms comfortable and clean

This 3-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage space and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is situated 3 km from Ayr Racecourse. Brilliant. The new owners must have spent a fortune on the re-furb of this lovely period hotel. My room (the themed Whisky room) was large with a new, clean and well stocked en suite shower room. The shower was powerful. The bath towels were large. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows huge, and just the fight combination of soft and supportive. Breakfast selection was just right and delicious. The staff could not have been more engaging and efficient. The location is just out of the town centre so no traffic noise. I would definitely return.

The reception area was so welcoming and warm. Every member of staff was friendly and chatty. The breakfasts were delicious and we ate in the restaurant each evening of our stay and really enjoyed all the meals

All guest rooms in the hotel are equipped with a flat-screen TV. With a private bathroom fitted with a shower and a hairdryer, rooms at Lochaline Hotel also feature free WiFi, while selected rooms also feature a sea view. This small family-run inn was one of our favourite places to stay during our two-week trip in Scotland. The house is situated on a beautiful peninsula with a lovely view and a “getting away from it all” feel. The interior has been lovingly renovated with creative touches using natural materials — e.g., our room had a woven jute toilet-paper holder and a spalted-birch beam across the ceiling — and guests have ample common space in the well stocked breakfast room and lounge. The hands-on owners were very warm and hospitable and the breakfast was superb.

Boasting a terrace and views of mountain, The Osprey Hotel is a guest house set in a historic building in Kingussie, 1.1 km from Kingussie Golf Club. This 3-star guest house offers full-day security and a concierge service. The guest house has family rooms. I’ve never slept in a more comfortable bed. Everything was spotless, the amenities were great, and the owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. There‘s also a supermarked and a really good fish&chip shop right down the road. I can’t recommend staying here enough.

Host was friendly and the location is great as there are large stores close to the guest house (Tesco etc.). The room and bathroom were both great, clean and tidy. There was also extra of everything such as toilet paper, pillows, bed sheets.

At the guest house, rooms are fitted with a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. The hotel managers, Ele and Jim, are great: welcoming and with lots of tips on the area. The cooked-to-order breakfast was truly wonderful! The property is quiet, safe and clean, the room big, bright and quiet. We had a wonderful stay!
