Located just 15 metres from the sea in Hydra,Hotel Sophia is housed in a restored 19-century building and offers a shared lounge, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi access. Hotel is located right on the port waterfront. The rooms with sea views have a balcony right above the port which is wonderful to take in all the bust comings and going on the dock. All rooms have access to a port view balcony. The women running the hotel are marvelous and should be bottled. Breakfast is great.

The room was incredibly spacious, clean and charming. The property is beautiful, peaceful, calm and serene. The breakfast is show-stopping, everything is made in house including the particularly delicious sweet treats (shout out to the best rice pudding I have ever had). The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. The location is stunning, a 2min walk away from a gorgeous restaurant (which was Leonard Cohen’s haven when he lived in Hydra!), and about a 5min walk from the front.
