The lovely employee there let us into the lobby, got us a heater and made us hot tea. Then the manager arrived, checked us in very quickly (compared to other places in India that can be exhausting with this process) and gave us our rooms at 7 am even though check-in was supposed to be at 12 noon. The employee helped us carry the heavy bags to the rooms, and when I tried to give him a tip he refused with a smile. The rooms were great, spacious, clean, stunning view, great shower with hot water. And the beds were comfortable and cozy, and the rooms had a radiator that warmed us up at night. And a bonus - there is a ping pong table downstairs that we really enjoyed playing on.

The breakfast is par excellence and every morning we had a sumptuous feast before setting out for the days adventures. There is everything included in the menu which you can expect at any of the 5 or 7 star hotels and the best part is the warmth with which the food is served and the amazing view of the Himalayas whilst sipping your morning coffee. I would love to go back there any given day.
