This family-run estate spread across 20-acres offers accommodation in Masinagudi at the foothills of the Nilgiris. The location of Jungle Hut was really special - quiet, near to nature and with fantastic views. Staff were all great and keen to help us enjoy our stay to the full. There were lots of activities on offer, from bird-watching to a trip into the Tiger Reserve. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. We stayed in one of the luxury tents, which really made us feel like we were on safari! There was a lovely sense of privacy, as the huts and tents were well spread out around the resort. Food was wonderful, lots of variety and high quality - we ate well every day and for every meal. The whole atmosphere felt adventurous, yet safe. We felt we were staying within a local context, as opposed to a faceless international resort.

Room we got first was worst, no water, bedsheets not clean, used sheets being used again etc. The next took that we got was clean and comfortable. Food was good and tasty especially the breakfast. Location is good and scenic.
