The staff is helpful (ask for food recommendations!) and can arrange trips to the beach for you (that was a bit pricey). Room are spacious, clean and comfortable. I recommend the place.

Wadi Rum in itself is an experience and the two nights spent here really was a highlight. Abdulla and his team were very nice and accommodating from the start, helping sort out with the tours available. We were picked up by their team in the parking lot of the Wadi Rum Visitors Centre and in the end, also dropped back, as part of their service. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner is provided at a small cost, while water and other cold drinks can be bought there for 1/2 JDR. Wadi Rum has no ATMs so it is advisable to bring enough cash for the payment of the accommodation as well as all extra curriculum activities, such as the jeep tours and camel rides. While it does get exceedingly hot during the days, the Star Wars Camp has an excellent resting spot by a rock where it stays cool throughout the day (wind and shaded) so you can relax with either a book or take a nap. Evenings tend to cool down so sleeping at night is perfect without any air-con/fan.
