Amazing hotel in amazing location of Izu peninsula. We love this place, staff was super friendly and very helpful, the room was beautiful, comfortable, big and cozy, breakfast was delicious with wide selection of asian and western food, great free drinks bar and absolutely gorgeous onsen. We rented ebikes from hotel and had a perfect ride around the cost.

This 3-star ryokan offers a lift and full-day security. Guests have access to a hot spring bath, public bath and open-air bath. The staff are nice and friendly and helpful. The hotel is well managed and facilities feels new and clean. There are 7 free out-door private onsens available, which are very nice and easy to use and were never full during our stay. The sea view in the room is great especially for watching sun-rise. Half-board meals provided were great with numerous seafood dishes including lobster and abalone etc which are over our expectation. We could park our car right in front of the hotel which was very convenient. We had a very nice experience staying here for 2 nights.

With a shared lounge, the 3-star resort has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The property is non-smoking and is located 31 km from Shuzenji Niji no Sato. Spectacular Japanese style room, we felt it’s better than it looked on the pictures! The view of the room is amazing, the mountains, the sea and the village. All the staffs are friendly and we had a little chat with the owner in the morning, who is a lovely lady. Super happy with the stay and we will definitely come back if we visit Ito again.

Guests can take a mini cable car up to the outdoor hot-spring baths in the mountains. An indoor public hot-spring baths and massage services are available as well. Everything! You will not find a more authentic Japanese experience than this inn! I wish we had stayed longer. Everything was perfect. Unfortunately it rained for two days straight… so our sightseeing was cut short…. But staying here totally made the trip worth while!! From the welcome at reception, to the amazing view from our room and everything in between… it was perfect. We stayed in a room with a hot spring bath in the bathroom. The dinner and breakfast were delivered to our room. The “kitchen” staff were gorgeous! The futons were comfortable, and everything was spotless. We tried the open air bath at night. Such a different experience in the rain. Sitting in a warm bath, under the roof, listening to the rain falling! It was so peaceful. The owners are very kind and gracious. They are the 5th generation of the family to own the ryokan. They even offered us a lift to the station in the morning and helped us with an issue that we had with our tickets. I am definitely returning in the future!

An outdoor swimming pool is available in August and guests can enjoy sunbathing at the terrace with a cold drink. The property is just a 1-minute walk from Itami Bus Stop. Itami Bus Stop is accessible within a 10-minute bus ride from Shimoda Train Station. They have 2 baths and 1 pool with the best scenery. At the check out they even took us to the train station. I highly recommend this place to anyone, the dinner and breakfast is a must try experience. The beach is a 7 minute walk.

There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The ryokan features family rooms. It was a beautiful hotel, with a nice onsen and a large room. The staff was also very friendly.
