Little bit inside the city but juat 10 minuts ride by tuk tuk. 1.5 km for the main city. breath taking view of kaluthara river and kaluthara dagaba. Very tasty foods. We had 10 years wedding anniversary here as our marriage was orginozed in this hotel 10 years ago. Welcoming was so sweet, staff was super kind and foods in the restaurant was amazing. Definitely we will come back here once again.

The hotel was our last accommodation in Sri Lanka and by far the best. The staff are very friendly, attentive and courteous. All three hotel employees always did everything to ensure that we had a very pleasant stay and even helped us immediately in a problematic situation with the taxi driver and solved the problem superbly. The hotel is in a fantastic location - it is quiet and right on the beach and you can look out of bed directly onto the sea. You can't hear the train or the road. We had a wonderful rest there. The breakfast was very varied (British, continental and Sri Lankan-style) and everything was tasty. We ate a la cart a few times in the evening - that was also perfect. The pool was maintained daily. And when we went for another swim in the pool in the evening (almost at night), one of the staff even brought us extra fresh towels. The hotel itself looks good and is of the highest standard of all the accommodation we stayed in during our holiday in Sri Lanka. Everything works, the air conditioning and fan are very quiet, the shower is separate from the toilet and always had good water pressure and hot water. The fact that the light on the balcony didn't work didn't bother us because we could watch the sea from the balcony.
