My stay in this house felt like a dream. The entrance to the room is surrounded by greenery, giving the impression of being in the middle of the jungle. We also had a safari organized with them, led by a young and capable guide, and it was a wonderful experience. Breakfast in the national park was not only very pleasant but also delicious. Dinner, however, was not satisfying compared to other meals we had in Sri Lanka — the portion of chicken was very small, and overall the food felt a bit lacking.

Everything was amazing. The room was big and modern and the hospitality was above and beyond. The best breakfast we’ve had in Sri Lanka and an extra plus was the swimming pool. We booked the safari through them as well which made the process so easy. 100% recommend.

Located in Udawalawe, 10.5 km from Udawalawe National Park, Dhanaya Safari Home provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The accommodation was good .A/C excellent and on top of that a delicious breakfast and evening meal ! Couldn’t be bettered . Highly recommended!

My experience at Dhalaya Resort in the Udawalawe area was wonderful in every way! The location is characterized by stunning natural beauty, surrounded by breathtaking views that captivate the heart. The service was highly professional, with staff always being warm and welcoming. The rooms were clean and impeccably arranged, adding a touch of comfort. The resort also offers a variety of recreational activities, such as safari trips to explore the wildlife. The hotel provides meals and drinks that guests can take with them on their safari trips. The restaurant serves delicious dishes that showcase the authentic flavors of Sri Lanka in a delightful way. I would like to thank the reception staff, especially the young lady Dilmi, for their kind welcome. I also extend my gratitude to the staff member Lakman for his professional service and room preparation. I cannot forget the lovely young lady in the restaurant, the amazing chef, and the restaurant manager David, who provided an exceptional experience in presenting the delicious Sri Lankan dishes.
