Everything! especially the gardens it was like a paradise, full of the most colourful flowers I have seen and birdsong, lovely clean room with outside balcony looking straight into the garden, food was lovely, nothing was too much trouble for the owner Kumar who went out and got me a bottle shower gel free of charge and took me to the Safari pick up and my next hotel free of charge, an exceptional place run by an exceptional man.

Notre expérience au Sapana Lodge a été exceptionnelle. Le personnel était extrêmement gentil et dévoué, l’hôtel était magnifique, propre et calme. Les photos ne leur rendent pas justice. La nourriture était bonne. Nous sommes arrivés en soirée et avons été très bien accueilli. Nous souhaitions faire un safari le lendemain et en quelques minutes tout était organisé. Nous avons aussi profiter des éléphants qui se baladent dans la cour arrière et alors que nous les regardions, un hôte nous a apporté des gâteries pour les donner aux éléphants (un exemple de bel attention porté par le personnel).

Authentically. You can feel it in everything they do. I kept extending my stay, day after day. I only left because I couldn’t change my flight ticket. They can help you arrange any activity such as jungle walks, jeep safaris, canoe rides. Pick-up and drop-off are available too, to and from the bus park. They provide bycicles for free, the Wi-Fi is excellent, and the chill-out area invites you to relax, read, meditate, or simply be. The rooms are clean and comfortable, matress is top quality and the food is nourishing and delicious, and the pool is a big bonus. If you are heading to Sauraha and want to experience something deeper than just transactions and services (not blaming anyone,it’s just not my cup of tea), look no further. This is your place. Go with time. Let yourself slow down.

Beautiful place to stay. I loved the garden, so many flowers and plants. I upgraded to the double room with bathroom during my stay and I loved this room so much. Was cosy and comfortable bed, also drawers and mirror and space to practice yoga. Very homely. Staff were very nice and helpful, one day I was sick and the owner brought me medicine and checked on me in the evening which I appreciated. I booked 3 nights but stayed 2.5 weeks - and looking forward to returning. Location is also very good. Definitely recommend. Also one of the best priced stays in the area.

Pasar was an amazing host!🫶 he took really good care of us and arranged everything what we wanted to do! Really nice terrace and restaurant at the riverside where you can face crocodiles while you are having your beer. Food was one of the best we had in Nepal. Make sure you book one of the renovated rooms, the bed was really comfortable after the teahouse beds with the trekkings. Slept like a baby. Highly recommend this place
