Within walking distance of the main town and restaurants and ferry to Russell. The apartment had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay and our hosts were on hand if we needed anything. Large area with a great outdoors space. Definitely a great place to stay if you are visiting the bay of islands, which was one of my favorite places in New Zealand. We had one room with a lot of area, and another with very little area, so that was interesting.

Kingsgate Hotel Paihia offers a memorable waterfront location, just 100 metres from Paihia wharf. The hotel offers views across the Bays brilliant blue sea and out to Russell. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Many restaurants nearby walking distance.
