The room was spacious and very comfortable, the pool is stunning, the food is delicious, the staff is amazing... and it's so close to the beach. I also loved the location, which feels more remote than General Luna (the best is to rent a scooter there). Highly recommend this place, I myself can't wait to be back!

Designed with modern Filipino vernacular architecture, Harana Surf Resort offers beachfront accommodation in General Luna, 110 metres from Cloud 9 at Tuazon Point. This place is a properly beautiful beach resort with it's own gin speakeasy. I can't believe how nice it was. And there's reasonably priced dorm rooms. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

The hotel was absolutely amazing – modern, spotlessly clean, and in a fantastic location right next to Ocean Nine. It’s a little further north than the busy tourist road, so you’ll need a tricycle or scooter to get around, but I actually preferred the quieter setting. It’s only a short 5–10 minute ride to the main tourist area, yet you get the peace and calm of being away from the crowds. The hotel looks directly out onto the beach, literally just 10 seconds away. It’s perfect for swimming and has the most incredible sunsets. The staff were outstanding – so friendly and genuinely helpful. They went above and beyond, helping me hire a scooter, organising airport pick-up and drop-off, and even letting me pre-order breakfast early on the morning of my island-hopping tour. I honestly can’t recommend this hotel highly enough – everything about my stay was amazing!

This resort has a barbecue area and views of the sea. Free private parking is available on site. Certain units have a seating area to relax in after a busy day. Everything! We will return as soon as possible! Thank you xxx

The property was well-used and well-designed. It had breathing spaces and was very airy. I love how they designed the whole structure, the rooms, and the shared bathrooms. It would be hard not to relax just hanging out in any area of the hostel. The staff are also friendly and helpful.
