This hotel is a wonderful example of adaptive use. The front part of the hotel is housed in a 16th century building while the rooms are all brand new construction. It is a beautiful space, clean lines, and comfortable furnishings. Plenty of places to lounge throughout the property, both inside and outside. The breakfast was outstanding, with great options to fit all eating styles. I especially enjoyed trying the regional cheeses. Will definitely go back when I’m in that part of the country.

Staying here was the highlight of our trip to Portugal.

Only the bathrooms were a little cramped. But there were two of them! Lots of facilities to enjoy in the apartment and on the wider grounds. The view from the roof terrace was spectacular.

Excellent hotel with a perfect location if you want to discover the region. Perfectly suited for familles. The owners are super sweet.

This 3-star hotel is located in Portagem, on the banks of the Sever River, where guests can enjoy a public pool. It has free WiFi and views of the historic village of Marvão. The staff were very helpful to me because I had a bank card problem. And the restaurant staff very good too.

Breakfast spread was very lovely!
