First and foremost, the people! Meem and Jeff are such generous and warm individuals. They are the perfect hosts to a homestay. From the moment I walked into their tranquil garden, I could tell that they've taken meticulous care of their home - yes, a home, because they did not use the word "homestay" slightly. They provided all kinds of amenities to help make our travel easier, from the use of a motorcycle, to directions to all nearby attractions and a ride to the airport (we truly appreciate this)! The photos don't do this place justice. Next time we come back, it won't be just for a stopover, but a longer stay to soak in everything this place has to offer.

Room was super clean and comfortable, exactly what I needed and was hoping for. Wish I’d had longer there to enjoy more of it!

Located on the beach of Pratew District in Chomporn, Baantalay Thungwualaen offers modern air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and free toiletries. It was family run and they couldn’t do enough for us.
