Located beside a large lake with dawn views to the Highlands, the beach is an easy 20-minute walk down a sandtrack. If you are lucky, you will meet a mother and two baby elephants KHUK KHAK beach is miles long and spotless - considered the best of Khao Lak. There are excellent restaurants close by - the famous Pam's which seemed to be always fully booked, Phen which never was and always had a welcome smile, and my favourite Wan, a local streetwise restaurant with fabulous bbq meats Even closer by is a magnificent Buddhist religious site Wat - visit by day and night. 2 local supermarkets are nearby and a money changer too, all close to the Marriott development LakeView is not a fancy hotel with any pool or bar, but it is really special and one of my favourite spots anywhere. Just relaxing and peaceful. The owner, builder Karl, is always on hand to chat and suggest options or help with your plans. Great fun.

My bungalow was clean, bed comfortable, shower spacious and with good water pressure and good airco. It was cleaned daily with added fresh towels, water bottles replaced and new coffee pouches added. Staff is incredibly nice and accommodating.

The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us out’ eg they organised a private taxi to take us to our next destination at half the price we’d been quoted, the villa colina is situated on a very quiet road,but only minutes out of the main town’ also a fantastic restaurant right next door that cooks great food with nice music being played every night. I would recommend this resort ina heart beat, also a lovely clean swimming pool with diving lessons provided if required, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely return in the future ❤️👍

Kokotel Khao Lak Lighthouse Certified is located on Nang Thong Beach in Khao Lak, Phang Nga. It offers rooms with views of the Andaman Sea, an outdoor pool, restaurant and pub. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. Soooo much to love about this place. I loved having breakfast by the sea every morning—with a nice selection of foods! We also loved the surf shop (Low Tide) located behind the hotel, which allowed us to surf almost everyday. **note that it’s only recommended to surf during low tide. The bed was SO comfortable—probably the best we’ve experienced so far in Thailand. The staff were so kind and always with a smile. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended a week! Hopefully we can come back soon. P.S. book the sea view room, very much worth it, even if you can’t “see” that much of the sea.

Our room was super spacious, we had connecting room for us and the kids. The restaurant was great and so was the pool. The beach and the lighthouse were so lovely. The staff were wonderful and went through great lengths to make my daughter feel special on her birthday.
