Absolutely can recommend HEBE Bungalows and hope I can come back one day!

I had an amazing stay at Sand Beach Boutique. The apartment was spacious, airy, and beautifully designed, combining modern aesthetics with colorful touches of African culture. The space was equipped with both air conditioning and a fan, which made my stay very comfortable. One of the features I truly appreciated was the mosquito and insect screens on the doors and windows, ensuring a bug-free environment throughout my stay. The hotel itself is new, exceptionally clean, and well-maintained. Towels were changed daily, and the room was freshened up every day, which added to the overall comfort. The staff were incredibly friendly and always greeted me with a smile. They were eager to assist with anything I needed, making the experience even more enjoyable. The garden and pool area were beautifully maintained, providing a serene and picturesque setting for relaxation. The owner was always present on-site and clearly dedicated to ensuring guests had a comfortable stay. Despite the island's limited resources, the hotel offered a seamless experience with reliable water, electricity, and excellent Wi-Fi. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Zanzibar. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, quality service, and cultural charm.

Such a beautiful place, with nice energy, great relaxing vibe and the most friendly staff and great food. The room/apartment is spacious with a separate room for bags and clothes with a big mirror. Bathroom is also big with a rain shower. Breakfast is served at your own table on the veranda. Beach is beautiful (white sand, blue ocean) and even with low tide it’s a great sight. A great place to unwind, relax and enjoy.

Marco oversees everything with care and calm, adding to the welcoming, homey atmosphere. Lucas and the gardener make sure the grounds/pool area are spotless and beautiful at all times. And then there’s Beth and Dullah, the amazing owners. They are simply wonderful—kind, helpful, full of great tips, and always ready to assist with anything from taxis to excursions. Their personal touch makes all the difference. If you're looking to experience Zanzibar at its very best, Mango Beach House is the place to be. We left with full hearts, relaxed minds, and memories we'll treasure forever. Highly recommended!

The rooms feature trendy and minimalistic design and the beds are draped with a mosquito net. There is a safety deposit box and the private bathrooms are fitted with a shower. I can’t describe how impressed I have been with this place. Each and every staff member have gone out of their way to make me feel comfortable and happy. Food is delicious, staff are attentive and friendly, accommodation is clean and comfortable. I was even upgraded to the beautiful beach house as it was available during my stay. The location and property is truly magnificent and exactly what you want if you’re looking to escape the busy crowds of stone town or nungwi. The staff is wonderful and kind, the restaurant great, and the pole pole island vibe lived to perfection. I would always come back!
