One specific chicken would come up to the property and lay eggs on a particular spot. Eggs look healthy and huge :D Lots of fruit trees. Owners are good people with great hospitality and nice communications. Rooms are clean, spacious, with a nice patio. beds are sooo comfortable. (The combination of sheets, comforters and mattress is something my friend and I really liked.) Weather is pleasant, view is amazing. fruits and breakfast are delicious.

The property is situated 38 km from Pana'Ewa Rainforest Zoo, 42 km from University Of Hawaii, Hilo and 44 km from The Pacific Tsunami Museum. The inn has a hot tub and luggage storage space. We stayed at the Lodge for 3 nights and fall in love immediately. The staff was very friendly, the room was absolutely cute and perfectly cleaned and the dinner at the Lodge was excellent (you should try the Volcanoes wine made in the area!). Drinking water and parking were for free. The location was great, since we were there for hiking in the Volcanoes National Park, which is only 5-10 mins drive away. You can use the fire place in the common area for free and enjoy a relaxing evening. There is no TV in the room, which we loved. Time to talk and read a book. A rain forest nature trail belongs to the Lodge's area as well.

Located directly across from Kamaole Beach Park, this Kihei hotel offers an outdoor pool, hot tubs, an on-site restaurant and poolside dining. Each modern, air-conditioned guest room includes free Wi-Fi. The shuttle, free bikes, and hospitality room are such nice perks to staying here! The staff was the friendliest I have ever interacted with! One driver, Jamie, took extra care in making sure we had good recommendations and made it to everything on time. We are very grateful to have stayed here and hope to come back.

These Polynesian-styled accommodations on the Big Island of Hawaii include fully equipped kitchens. An 18-hole golf course is on site and Punaluu County Beach Park with its famous black sand is a 12-minute walk away. What a beautiful secluded property situated next to the black sand beach and close to the green sand beach and volcano national park. We enjoyed ocean views and watched the sunrise from our balcony every morning. Great stay! Highly recommended.
