Located in Kapaa town, Fern Grotto Inn offers authentic old-style plantation cottages with island-inspired furnishings and modern amenities. Guests can relax in the private garden. This inn is less than 5 minutes’ walk to the beach and Wailua Golf Course. The property was like an oasis! We loved relaxing here and using the bikes to explore the local area. The facilities were great and there were lots of ways you could explore the local surroundings (bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, snorkels etc). The property was well equipped and there were bbqs to use and lots of outside space to relax in. We also really appreciated the laundry facilities! Couldn’t recommend more.

Kauai Shores Hotel is next door to Coconut MarketPlace and 10 minutes’ drive from Kapaa city centre. Outdoor activities including snorkeling, fishing and helicopter tours are 5 minutes’ drive away. Lihue Airport is 6 miles away. Everything. Nice renovated rooms. Bed was very comfortable with the softest linen I ever slept in 😊 Rooms are quiet, spacious and modern. European style bathroom with the a perfect shower. Garden & pool have a nice set up and it is well maintained. Stuff helps quick and is super nice. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Location is amazing, i'd always be in the north shore and not too close to the more busy part of hanalei!
