Beautifully preserved cottage that is a short drive away from Deloraine, which is a great place to use as a base for North Tasmania. Free range chicken, ducks and eggs were a pleasant surprise - the kids absolutely loved feeding them.

The location was stunning - the property was light and warm. A fire lit in the log burner was welcoming. Having travelled some distance the basket of goodies was a lovely thought and enjoyed immediately!

Quite possibly the most magical place we have ever stayed! The views are simply magnificent. We had planned on going out exploring, however, we set ourselves up on the veranda with a bottle or two of wine and didn't move. The farm animals were just beautiful, as were the plentiful rabbits. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and provided all the facilities you would possibly need.

We received the best hospitality from these super hosts. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. We really enjoyed the welcome brownies baked specially for us including the simple breakfast. The rooms and hall were so spacious. what impressed us is the bathroom was super large and comfortable. we enjoyed the back to nature feel of this apartment. We had 4 nights here and it was perfect. Beautiful location so close to many small towns and beautiful scenery. The gardens were gorgeous and it was lovely sitting under the oak tree in the afternoon watching the plovers and admiring the mountains in the distance. Also loved Chicken the cat and Chops the dog.

If you are seeking a perfect stay, this is the place to come. I stayed in the truffle farmhouse. It was just awsome. One of the the best, if not the best stay ever for me. And Shane was really nice. A top notch place. Very highly recommended.
