The apartment was very large, four bedrooms with three attached toilets with bathtubs and an additional powder room for guests. The main living/dining area with a open kitchen was big and well-furnished. There was also a separate family area near the bedrooms. Location was great and we could see the waterfront from the main living area, which was also bright and airy due to its many windows and skylights. The reception was fantastic and welcoming. There was a welcome starter pack comprising of two boxes of milk, two boxes of orange juice, bread, small packs of butter, jam, cereals, a plate of biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar, tubs of yoghurt and even a pitcher of cold water in the fridge. The kitchen was stocked with all the kitchenware that you will need to make a meal. There was even a separate pantry with even more kitchen aids. I would say that this is the best apartment that I have ever rented, in terms of location, size, amenities and welcome.

A great place to spend a week in Melbourne. The property is in the Reservoir district and is close to the railway station and large shopping centre and other shops. It's also an easy drive into Melbourne CBD and around 30 mins from Melbourne International Airport and has a bus stop right outside should you need it. Very well equipped and very well maintained, nicely presented, just like being at home. Honestly can't fault it.

I will certainly be back to let the other members of my family enjoy the wonderfull and characteristic Cpt’s Retreat and all of its surroundings.     We stayed in a clean and spacious two bedroom apartment run by Captain’s Retreat. It had everything we needed and was within walking distance to shops/cafes. The host was extremely friendly and hospitable taking the time to let us know about local sites and surrounds and making great recommendations.

    The property was in a great location with beautiful bay views on a quiet street. The furnishings were extremely comfortable, the facilities clean, and had everything you would need for a short or long stay. We unfortunately didn't get time to enjoy the luxurious cinema down stairs. The property owner was very accommodating which is always a bonus. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Very easy to book and owner upgraded us at no extra cost - apartment was stunning, absolutely luxurious right on the water - great location. It wasn't cheap but worth every cent.
