Minimal aesthetic, cozy beds and couches, a relaxing bathroom and a fully equiped kitchen...right in the center of Mechelen, there is a parking across the street, which was safe and with a normal price. Nice house with lots of history and unique experience. Kitchen with cookware and utensils. Host was waiting for us to hand over the keys as we arrive. Rooms have decent sizes and beds are comfortable.

The cottage is very spacious, and yet cosy on a rainy November night. A big comfortable living room with kitchen, an excellent modern bathroom, and upstairs a huge bedroom. The kitchen is well-equipped and I very much appreciated the offered drinks in the fridge! The location is very quiet, in a fine park-like neighbourhood. I attended an event at Wijnegem, for which the location at Schilde was perfect. Pity I couldn’t stay more than one night!
