The information and help supplied before arrival was very useful in aiding us to plot our way there. The house has real character and made the time spent indoors nearly as engaging as the time spent outdoors. Some interesting innovation to provide modern facilities, particularly the bathroom, but it all worked very well. The location is excellent in that there are places to go, sights to see, things to do, food to sample all within easy striking distance. The setting of Dilsberg itself is superb: hilltop walled village with views down the Neckar River and narrow streets and paths to wander along. And then there is the food - a good restaurant in the heart of the village. It was indeed the special stay (or in my case, return) for which we had been hoping.

The cottage is perfectly situated in the Feriendorf area south of Wald-Michelbach. It is a very green and quiet place, the views are eye-pleasing and relaxing. The hosts were so kind to us, and accommodated for all our requests. The premises had all the amenities to make our stay wonderful and refreshing. The car parking lot is a 2-minute walk, was big enough for a big SUV, and was provided free.

Fully equiped house. We didn't use the kitchen but it is a plus if you plan to be there for a few days.

The house was really nice clean, tidy and comfotable. from bed linens to towels. the kitchen was adequately furnished with utensiles to dished. the owner was really warm and pleasant to talk to. the house lacked a fan in one of the rooms but due to the heat of the region, he was more than ok to buy another fan to keep us comfortable. big thumbs up to the kindness and hospitality. Location is also good. not in the center of the city but very close to the places of interest, city center, pubs, etc. Trust the owner recommendation too.

We had a wonderful stay and I cannot speak highly enough of our host. We were on a bike ride along the river and had not realised that the Haeusel is a little bit on a hill after calling our host Steffi she offered us not only help and directions but also offered to pick us up in case we would get stuck. The place is very clean, modern and tastefully furnished. A pleasant surprise were the cold drinks in the fridge that could be bought for a small fee. Great sleep after and wonderful stay!
