Beautiful peaceful location. Mountain views from the pool terrace, and a lovely walk from the cottage over the hills to Montefrio. Lydia and Johan were perfect hosts - really friendly and always on hand to offer advice and helpful suggestions for places to visit. The cottage is beautiful, very comfortable and well equipped. The weather was too cool for swimming during our visit, but we were still able to enjoy sitting on the terrace and listening to the little steam running along the valley below. The country road to the cottage from the main A road is narrow and slightly rough, but you soon get used to it - just take it slowly and enjoy the scenery!

Cortijo La Solana is magnificently placed between countless olive orchards and offers unparalleled tranquility. We spent four wonderful nights there and had a great time exploring the surroundings. Manuel even gifted us with some eggs from his free-range chickens located nearby :)

Elias, Miguel and their Dad are delightful, caring hosts and I wish them all the best in their new venture. The house is charming and located wihin walking distance of all the major attractions. Built on three levels with a balcony on the top floor with the most amazing view of the entire area.

Very spacious property that caters up to three families. We were 4 adults and 5 children and the house felt more than enough. The pool was amazing, kitchen fully equipped with everything that you could possibly need to make your own meals. Bedrooms and bathrooms are in very good standard. The pool guy with his son was really nice and helpful (sorted out the filtration issue when a small baby bird was stuck and the pool’s system was no longer working). The fact that the property is located 1 min walk to the supermarket is a massive bonus.
