Korpikelo - Warm Wood and Enchanted Forest: A log cabin in a fairy-tale forest. We found ourselves living in a very welcoming, warm, and comfortable place. The owners are people who genuinely care for their guests; everything is well-maintained, and everything works seamlessly, from the sauna to the heating, the fireplace, the furnishings, and all other amenities. For the beauty of the surroundings and the magic of the forest, I thank the creator, and for the well-being, care, and the warm welcome of the cabin, I thank the owners. We had a great time and were even fortunate enough to witness a stunning aurora!

It was absolutely amazing. Even better than we could imagine. Host, cottage, location are the best. We had the most magical time in Äkäslompolo. Thanks Simon for everything. We hope to visit there again soon. A big K Market supermarket, together with other shops, restaurants, lakes, forest trails just 5 min walking, Yllas ski resort 5 min drive, the cottage is so clean, warm, well equipped, cozy. We loved sauna and chimney. I highly recommend it. The owners are so friendly and nice. We had a really great experience.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the delightful hosts, Yannick and Kimberley, whose friendliness and hospitality set the tone for a memorable stay. The property itself is incredibly cosy, blending modern facilities with a welcoming atmosphere. The interiors are thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and style, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring the snowy surroundings. One of the highlights for us was the lovely sauna, a haven of relaxation where we could recharge and enjoy the ultimate winter indulgence. It added a touch of luxury that made our stay even more special. Every detail, from the well-equipped amenities to the impeccable cleanliness, reflects the care and passion Yannick and Kimberley put into creating an exceptional experience. We can’t recommend this place enough – it’s not just a stay but a winter retreat you’ll never forget.

    The house “OUTA” was very nicely situated. A little “out” in the forest with some privacy and the forest directly surrounding but still everything in the village reachable within only a few meters. It was everything there we‘ve needed and we felt at home right away. A very cozy and comfy house. We’ve enjoyed the sauna and the chimney very much and due to the cold outside it was all the time very good temperated inside. The floor heating in the bathroom was a huge plus. We would come back any time!! Thanks for the stay.
