It was a dark and starry night when we arrived. There is very little light pollution so on a clear night you feel like you can see forever - billions of stars in the Milky Way. In the mornings it was phenomenal to see the stunning surroundings that this cottage sits in - forest, apple and chestnut orchards, and hills. It is winter, so it is cold outside, but we were fortunate to have perfect weather - blue skies and sunshine. The cottage is very cozy, and has a lovely wood-fired stove to keep it warm. Our two very active dogs loved the property and surroundings too - there was about 1200 square meters, all securely fenced, for them to run about in. It was lovely to meet the owners too and learn about the area. There is a butcher, bakery, pattisierri, and Super U supermarket about 15km away which catered to all our food and drink needs.

This one bedroomed annex is part of a charming old farmhouse, with very welcoming and helpful hosts. There is a very well equipped kitchen, spacious lounge and a balcony with views out over the fields. The property is set in a tiny hamlet but within easy reach of all required amenities, and the peace and serenity of the surroundings cannot be ove-emphasised! Highly recommended.

That was the home. i mean home, which any of us tries to establish for ourselves. Clean, cosy and everything you need is in its place. Couldn't be better! Daiana and her husband are very friendly and kind couple. Thanks them for hospitality. The place is suitable for a family or company of friends. Alone and in one night I could not use even 10% of what this house gives.
