The whole house is nicely decorated and equipped. The bathroom is exceptionally spacious and modern. The shower is spacious and the water pressure is great, and a lot of hot water for a good shower. A lot of channels on the tv, including BBC and Sky news for the English people. Newly furbished and comfy bed. We parked a few steps from the holiday let on the main street overnight, I think from 7 pm to the next morning at 9 am. I space is up to 7 am, so do check the signs. There are local families living nearby, so it feels quite safe in the cul-de-sac. Gravels on the ground for the culdesac, so walking shoes are best for getting to the house. Very friendly and responsive host.

The house was very clean and had lots of extra things which are not normally supplied with other properties. It was very comfortable and was very attractive outside and inside. It was in a great location. Only a few minutes walk from the centre of Vimoutiers.

That day we arrived after 7 hrs driving from home the Netherlands to our destination at Domaine de La Dive. First impression was good! The keys combination seemed similar as our neighbors. So, we chose the ground floor as we didn't pay attention or noticed upstairs there was also a accommodation which was ours as we didn't know. We didn't see this coming because the key combination was right as same as the ground floor (neighbors). So, we got our stuffs and brought it inside. Later, that evening we went to a local restaurant. As on sudden the hotel manager texted me via sms that they put all our stuffs upstairs without asking our permissions first. My first thoughts hum that is RUDE! Later I realized it was my own mistakes after our neighbors apologized themselves as we did for the inconvenience. They were nice people, they didn't blame us at all. Well, at the end after a thoroughly check if I might or they have forgotten something I checked their accommodation as good as well. At the end nothing was wrong but just a mixed confusion in the key combination. This wouldn't have happened when each accommodation has its own keys combination which it should be different. From my side, I wished I did know it better rather to let this confusing happened. Next time, I should have known it better! Wonderful place sure it is..... amazing.

This is a stunning, large, very well-converted old house in the centre of the town. Wooden floors, large rooms, beautiful decor, quirky features including the spiral staircase. Kitchen had everything you needed (apart from a washing machine, but as it looks like there are still rooms to be converted, maybe this will be added later). Arrival details were accurate and the owner responded almost instantly when I contacted her. There are 2 showers. It was very easy to park on the street outside - free overnight. The house and area felt very safe and the centre of town with many restaurants is only a few minutes’ walk away. There is a little Carrefour around the corner that stays open until 9pm. We arrived late and it was also pouring with rain, so we didn’t use the courtyard, but it looked like it would be a nice area to sit out in.

Overall a lovely stay for us which included parents and children as well as grandmas. Quiet location. Easy to park. Good privacy. Plenty of lawn. Lovely outdoor space for kids to runaround and play. Hazelnut tree next to BBQ was cool and offered hours of play for the children collecting them. Hot tub was great. Great to have spare filters in case replacement needed during your stay. Good bedding and comfortable beds. Hot water plentiful for shower and washing but can be very hot so care needed. Good kitchen area. Great to have dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. Good space for preparing food. We had plenty of cleaning products supplied including laundry cleaner sheets and dishwasher tablets. We did bring our own though since this was not explicitly listed as being available. Table good size for us all. Plenty of chairs (although one chair had a loose bolt found on the floor which we fixed). WiFi was excellent though was switched off at our arrival prompting us to contact the host. Plenty of natural light which also means very good ventilation when hot. Host really responsive and friendly. Impeccable host throughout our stay. Plenty of mains sockets in all rooms. The utility room was a great addition. Great outdoor seating. Kids swing and play items were good. Nice lounge area and sofa. TV was good and easy to use. Plenty of lights both inside and outside the property. The property is a very good size and we never felt claustrophobic. It was a lovely stay and we will have fond memories of our visit to Normandy.

Fantastic Gite thats been tastefully renovated in a peaceful location. Very well presented with everything you need provided by the hosts. From toilet paper to coffee pods to charcoal for the BBQ, the Gite had every utensil you could need and was very clean and tidy. It was nicely decorated and tastefully furnished. We had a fantastic stay Highly recommended.

    The property was in a beautiful location. Just a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk into the village. Amazing views and sunsets from the back of the property. The pool was a lovely addition, so refreshing on a hot day. Lovely bakery for fresh croissants in the morning. Lots of places to visit. Cerza zoo was amazing and only 30 minutes away. Cheese museum and shop just 5 minutes away and the village of Camembert 25 minutes drive. Also the D-Day beaches and museums are just over an hours drive.
