The house is beautiful and we had everything we needed. Clean and tidy with the welcoming fireplace warming the house up on arrival. Dinner was lovely, we had a wonderful time.

Hardly found a property as clean as this one! At one point I actively started looking for some dust or something and seriously couldn't find any! The host made the bed for us and left us some fresh water in the fridge, nice touch!

A very comfortable and clean house with everything that you could wish for at your disposal. The Host was a very friendly person after some confusion with the key case code to get into the property however this was overcome. It was in my opinion an exceptional accommodation and would recommend to anyone.

As research-focussed academics from the UK researching life in the Loire region, the house, with its location in a forested area in the country, the peace and privacy, served us very well. We were able to access the Canal d’Orléans nearby, as well as the Loire River itself, focussing on Sully-sur-Loire and its rich, magnificent chateau, within reasonable driving distance of the house. A drive on quiet roads along the Loire itself brought us to charming little towns and hamlets, many rich in medieval history and architecture. The house itself was well-located, clean and comfortable with 2 large bedrooms with ample space for our work desks as well as for self-catering and dining. Siting out to enjoy the sunset and sunrise, as well as observing the rich bird life around, were added bonuses. There was ample space for parking within the grounds.
