Two marvellous hosts who were always friendly, helpful and attentive to us a guests- in a beautifully restored early 1900s chateau with wonderful period (and earlier!) furnishings. Wonderful grounds to take a forest stroll or sit in the garden to enjoy the views over the countryside. Nice swimming pool in season. We stayed three nights and enjoyed every minute. Good typically French breakfast served in a beautiful dining room. Good comfort food available in the evenings for those not motivated to seek out local restaurants for fancier fare. A wonderful restaurant (La Petite Auberge) is around 8km from the chateau.

A beautiful house in a stunning location, overlooking a scenic lake in the centre of town. The house is very well equipped and decorated to a high standard. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and would definitely stay again if we’re ever in the region. Perfect for a cycling base.
