This is an exceptionally comfortable, spacious and welcoming property. It is warm and well-furnished. Fixtures and fittings all of a high standard and work well. Great views across the surrounding farmland and then into the hills, and big windows to enjoy them! Helpful host met me with complimentary milk and cakes. Well-organised, explanatory notes around the place. Good wifi, certainly for such a remote location. Good shower, excellent bed. A bunch of acrobatic pied wagtails cavort around the cottage. The geographical 'centre of Scotland' is a couple of miles along the Glen Truim road towards Newtonmore, marked by a big cairn and signage.

Really comfy cabin in a stunning location! We had everything we needed & it was clean overall. Great position to visit lots of places like Loch Ness, Ben Nevis etc. Would definitely come back!

We spent a great week at the house with two families. We just loved it and enjoyed every day. The house has everything one could wish for, a very well-equipped kitchen, two comfortable living rooms and plenty of space for eight people. We can recommend it whole-heartedly.

Beautiful lodge fully equipped with everything you could need and more. In a lovely quiet area overlooked by mountains and a stream running out through the woods. Very close proximity to lots of walks Was made to feel very welcome by the owner Suzanne and offered earlier entrance on the day of arrival should we have needed it. Would definitely come again.

The location was ideal for exploring the beautiful Highlands, making it a convenient base for our trip. The house, though older, was tastefully decorated and thoughtfully arranged with the needs of travelers in mind. We especially appreciated the welcome box of treats — a lovely gesture. The home was well equipped, with everything we needed to warm up meals and prepare light breakfasts. The beds were very comfortable, and we all slept well, feeling refreshed and ready for the next day’s adventures.
