Excellent location, on the end of peninsula. Very quiet spot, beautiful views along the coastline. Nice window seats to relax and enjoy the view. The house is well equipped, everything you need is there. Comfortabel beds.

Rowan cottage was within easy walking distance to the centre of Portree my granddaughter found a quick route on an app the location was really quiet, cottage is very cosy beds are comfortable. lots of piping hot water , great shower. the kitchen is well equipped. We had a wonderful time in Skye the weather for April was terrific after longs days sightseeing it was so lovely to come back to a log fire.

Beautiful house in a stunning location. On arrival we found a basket filled with treats, such a lovely gesture. Nice kitchen to cook in. The house was very clean! We slept well and woke up by the sound of sheep and cows :) This side of the Isle is very beautiful! Just loved the area.

If you want to have the feeling of Scottland Glendale and this cottage ist the right place. A good starting point to visit places like Dunvegan Castle, Neist Point Lighthouse, Fairy Pools, Talisker, .... On days, when the rain and wind whistled around the house we we're sitting around the fireplace and enjoyed the cosy warm athmosphere. The cottage is lovely furnished and very well equipped. Thank for the wonderful time. We will come again.

Absolutely stunning! We loved that it was so private by the loch. With the location being very accessible by car. We enjoyed watching the tide, the view was well worth it as we entered the home. It felt very welcoming with a homely decor. Kitchen was very well kitted out with utensils and kitchenware. Everything was perfect during our 4 day stay. Much of our time at night was spent stargazing, we were lucky that we had a sunny spell while we were there and spotted some otters bobbing their heads too on our low tide walk down the loch! Beds were so comfy they hugged us warm after our long days of walking around the island. Bathrooms had sufficient hot water for a family of 4 adults, plus towels were so plush. Honestly, Daisy's cottage is very well worth it as I have never stayed in a place so beautiful inside and out. There is a TV but we never used it as we spent our time there just fawning over the views. The experience surpassed my expectations, especially with the two friendly sheep just grazing away all day and night outside the compound.
