amazing spot in front of Edinburgh's gates, enjoy the historic atmosphere between tiny houses, respect to huge bridge monuments crossing Firth of Forth, enjoy a glass wine in front of the house while observing the tides, enjoy your cheesebread at kitchen window and count the busses crossing Forth Road Bridge, feel the light spoted clouds running under Forth Railroad Bridge while taking a break in the living room; our kids enjoyed watching trains on the bridge, while they should go to bed (counting trains instead of sheeps is more exciting); excellent startingpoint (especcially by commuter train) to Edinburgh; try also a night walk on Forth Road Bridge (30 min oneway) and feel the space between sky and sea

Because I read these reviews before traveling, I booked an extra night at this remarkable property. They sent me this review to fill out for my second booking and I will use it to continue to sing the praises of this unique stay. If you want to feel like royalty, stay here your last nights before flying out of EDI Airport. If you always look up when you hear an airplane engine, this is a little spot of heaven. The property is equipped with a central sound system for those who aren't thrilled with the sound of planes, so no worries about noise pollution intruding upon the peace and tranquility. If you have the soul of a daydreamer .... book this property and you will never regret your choice! I didn't get to light fires in the two fireplaces so a return trip is due to experience that bit of magic! Many thanks to the incredible hosts for making this property available to the hopeless romantics and perpetual daydreamers of the world....

I love how spacious and open the property was, it also felt very warm and cosy, it was perfect for us with young children. Everything was easy to find, and was met on arrival by lovely host who was very welcoming.

The property is very close to the city centre, you can easily get a bus directly to the city centre. Plus this house is ideal for families and groups. The property had pretty much everything from clean rooms to furnished kitchen. They also do provide breakfast, which is a plus amongst all the listed houses here. The host mandy were a great host and were readily available for any help or responses. I would 100% recommend this property to people travelling to Edinburgh.

The house is beautiful, clean and made us feel very comfortable! It has everything that you need: microwave, fridge, toaster… The responsable for the house also thought about every single detail: towels, shampoo, soap, shower gel and he was very attentive with us! We felt like it was our own home.

This was one of the most beautifully designed apartments we’ve ever stayed in. Every detail—from the furniture to the lighting felt so hand picked. The bed was so comfortable, with gorgeous quality bedding - probably why we slept better here than we have on any other holiday! If you appreciate interiors, this place is a dream and it’s not just stylish, it’s functional too, perfect for a couple! I just loved how cute and quirky every room was!  The location is unbeatable, 5 minute walking distance to great restaurants, shops, and bars, yet still quiet and tucked away like a true hidden gem!  The host, Melissa, was wonderful—welcoming us with wine and pastries, shared excellent local recommendations, and was always available if we had questions.  Truly a memorable stay, and we’d absolutely book again! 10 out of 10!
